1. Each team will be guaranteed four games.

2. No player can be added to the roster after the first game.

3. All tournament players must be listed on your first game sheet, which shall become your final tournament roster.

4. Photocopy official birth certificates must be available at all times during the tournament, in case a player is challenged.

5. A player can register for one team roster only, and maximum of 19 players may register per team and dress for the game.

6. Mercy Rule: if by or anytime during the third period, one team is ahead by five goals or more, running time will commence, and will not revert back.

7. Scoring: Two points for a win. One point for a tie. Zero point for a loss.

8. In event of an unforeseen circumstance within the arena where a game cannot be played, both teams will be awarded one point each.

9. If time is short prior/during a game due to unforeseen injury or circumstances the game will be modified to allow completion of the game by the stated time schedule, and is up to the discretion of the organizing committee.

10. Game times: There will be a two minute warm-up prior to each game.  Referees have the discretion to run the clock, if the start of the game is delayed with excessive warm-up.  Teams must be ready to go on the ice 15 minutes prior to scheduled game time.  There will be no overtime played in qualify games.  There will be a curfew in effect for all qualifying games (see rule #9).

11. For all age groups, there will be a three 15 minutes periods.

12. No time outs will be given until the semi-final and final games, where one 30 seconds timeout shall be granted per team.

13. Overtime will be played in all semi-finals and finals games.  Five minutes, four on four sudden death overtime will be played.  If the game still remains in a tie after the 5 minutes of overtime, there will be a five man shoot-out.  If it is still a tie after the five man shoot-out, there will be a sudden death shoot-out.  No player can shoot twice until all players on the game sheet have taken a turn and then it will revert to the same order of initial shoot-out.

14. The red line does not apply.

15. No body checking or body contact is permitted until minor pee-wee. Any player who receives 10 minutes of penalties during a game will be removed from that game.  It will be reviewed by the tournament committee and the player may receive a match game.

16. Any player receiving a game misconduct will be suspended for the remainder of that game and will be reviewed by the tournament committee.

17. Full face mask is required and a neck guard is mandatory. Safety is our number one priority and we recommend that mouth guards be worn at all times. We will not be responsible for injuries incurred due to coaches/ team negligence if they choose not to wear mouth guards.

18. Ice surface will be flooded after every two periods and teams will return to their dressing rooms.

19. No player is allowed on the ice, until zamboni doors are closed.

20. A maximum of four coaches are allowed behind the bench.

21. Coaches and managers are responsible to control their players and parents to ensure that each game is played safely, with no vulgar language or harmful infractions.  Team management is responsible for any damages caused by their players and parents to arena facility and staff.  Head Coach, whose team receives 20 minutes of penalties not including match penalties, will receive a game match penalty.

22. Home and visitor status on the game sheet supersedes any other listing.  Head Coach must always sign game sheets.  All teams must complete game sheets 15 minutes prior to game time. Game sheets must be completed in hockey office and not to be removed from the office.  The Home team has the right to choose what colour Jersey to wear.  The tournament will have extra jerseys available. Bad Boyz teams Jersey will supersede any other team Jersey.

23. Tournament officials and or tournament referee can waive a rule, game misconducts and may over rule and make any final decisions necessary.

24. In the event of a tie within your own division and standings, this tie breaker formula will be used: (a) The team with the most wins (b) The winner of the round robin games between the two teams advance (c) Head to head game was a tie or in the standing, the tie breaker will be (total goals for + total goals against)/ total goals against.  The team with the higher number advances (d) The least penalty minutes in the tournament during the qualifying round advances (e) Coin toss to be done by the tournament officials.
